▼ (NAME) Robert Anthony Jones
▼ (NICKNAME) Everyone just calls him "Rob;" he doesn't like being called "Robert," anyway — it's too formal.
▼ (GENDER) Male
▼ (AGE) 17
▼ (BIRTHDATE) February 4, 1993
▼ (GRADE) 12
▼ (PB) Oliver Sykes
▼ (OCCUPATION) He works part-time The Classic Cinema. Mostly, he runs the projectors and cleans up, but mostly just sits around watching old movies since few care about classics any more. But he doesn't mind; he enjoys the job, and he's grateful for it — no one else would hire him.
▼ (HAIR) He has medium-length brunette hair; it comes down just past his chin, and frames his face — complete with bangs that do a nice job of hiding his rather large foreheard. He usually straightens his hair every day, and frankly, probably spends more time on it than most girls. Not that he'll ever admit that.
▼ (EYES) Hazel.
▼ (HEIGHT) 5'11
▼ (WEIGHT) 155
▼ (BUILD) Slender
▼ (STYLE) On a typical day, he wears ridiculously tight skinny jeans, a t-shirt of some sort, and a pair of Converse or his favourite old, beat-up pair of Toms. Occasionally a beanie and a sweater or hoodie if it's chilly. That's good enough for him: comfortable, and it doesn't look bad, either — in his opinion, anyway. Occasionally he'll do more than grab the first clothes he sees and wear something nicer, but most mornings he would rather sleep more than coordinate his wardrobe.
▼ (PERSONALITY) He's never afraid to voice his opinion, no matter how offensive, brash, downright impolite it may be — he always speaks his mind, no matter what, and tends to just blurt out whatever he's thinking. To some, he comes off as a jerk, as rude, but it's not intentional. Rob has a bit of an attitude problem, and always makes sarcastic comments on things if he can — oftentimes to his teachers, especially[/i] ones he doesn't like or finds incompetent, which never goes over well, and he ends up kicked out of class for the day. Despite his brashness, he's usually pretty mellowed out... unless you really know what makes him tick. Being one of those drama kids as well, it's implied that he's very theatrical. He will and often does make scenes in public for the sake of a good laugh, mockery, or entertainment in general. Secretly, he loves and craves the attention.
▼ (LIKES) Acting, theatre, musicals, body art, music.
▼ (DISLIKES) His nicotine addiction — he wishes he could quit, and he's tried before, but he just can't do it; artificial people, math, awkward silences, swimming, and onions. Were there a Devil, he would be made of onions.
TALENTS)[/b][/color] He loves acting, and he'd like to make a career of it someday; he's also great at math, though he hates the subject.
▼ (SEXUAL ORIENTATION) Heterosexual, for the most part.
▼ (RELIGION) Athiestic; he has no reason to believe in any "higher power," and simply doesn't.
▼ (HISTORY) Apparently, life was great, at one point, but everything fell apart when his mother left. She never disclosed why; she simply packed up her things one day and left, and his father fell into a depression, understandably, shortly after; his wife had just left him, after all. The downward plunge really started when he took up drinking as a way to cope with the loss, and all of the money he made went to booze, booze, and.... more booze. Unsurprisingly, he lost his job. When he wasn't at the bar, he was passed out drunk on the couch. By the time he was thirteen, Rob was having to scrape together money on his own to pay the bills, taking up whatever odd jobs he could find around the city. There isn't much work to be had for a 13-year-old, and he eventually resorted to stealing and the like. Desperate times call for desperate measures, after all, and survival is the ultimate priority. Fortunately, however, the neighbour called child services, and he went to live with his uncle, Christopher. He welcomed the boy with open arms into his home, and eventually sent him off to Rockhurst not only for a better education, but in hopes that he would develop a more positive outlook on the world and make something of himself.
